		<description>&#60;img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/38644/489084/fake_vagina_sophia_rossi_8_640.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="426" width_o="713" height_o="475" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/1/38644/489084/fake_vagina_sophia_rossi_8_o.jpg" align="left" /&#62;

In this sordid, controversial film we set out to investigate the strange equalities between male and female sex toys. Why is it sad/desperate/creepy for a guy to use a fake vagina, yet liberating/cool/socially acceptable for women to use vibrators?

Current TV originally commissioned this as part of a season called ‘Sex and Money’ and the commissioner loved it. But for months they sat on our film while their lawyers mulled over the final scene and whether it was ‘legal’ to broadcast or not.

Eventually they grew some balls, broadcast it and it proved to be one of their most popular short form films ever produced.

Since then, it has sat quietly and 'tag less' on my Vimeo page. That is until recently because the presenter of this film has decided to pursue a career in teaching and he fears that if one of his little rodent pupils stumbled across the film online, he’d get the sack.

So, being a good friend and even though he signed a full release form, I have pulled the film down.

If however, you are an employer considering hiring me for a kick ass job and you can promise to keep a secret, I’ll send you the password and you can give it a watch.

Here are some video grabs during the interim:

Ratkiller (2009)

We made this film 'Ratkiller' over the Christmas holidays. A'lot of my friends were off work and we needed a film to play at a party, so we went on a 4 day binge to create this monster just because it was fun and because we could!

Play Desert Rats in Buckeye (2011)

A wee holiday video from the desert shooting a plethora of guns and giggling like rednecks

The Penis That Tore a Village in Half (2009)

I'm not sure what prompted this one, but in the middle of a freezing cold night we set out under the cover of darkness to build a 9ft tall snow penis by a main road in a small village.

The Lap (2006)

This was actually my first attempt at creating a film with any dialogue and was also my first speculative poke at the TV industry. Before this, I had just been making BMX videos, which are basically action montages with no story. Freshly inspired by the first Long Way Round series, the idea was to drive around the entire coast of Britain and film a warts'n'all ob doc on Blighty off the back of a wild, big adventure. Warning: This one is a bit crude!

STF: Sequel (2005)

This was an independent BMX film I made and obsessed over for three years whilst working as a non-skilled labourer. It steered my life through those years, took me to some crazy places, introduced me to great life long friends and served as an invaluable creative outlet and learning experience for me.

Here is Tyrone Bradley's classic part:

<description>A short for Current TV exploring and testing various 'pulling props' that guys could deploy to help them pull. Presented by Donal Coonan and shot in and around London we had a lot of fun making this. Current were forced to change their secret filming policy after complaints they received during the making of this film.

Disclaimer: Please excuse the butt ugly graphics in this film, these were done in-house.

This film was awarded the 'Best Formatted' film of 2008 (By Current) and scored us some coverage in Arena Magazine in an article about up and coming guerilla film makers.

<description>In the depths of the credit crunch myself and Donal Coonan optimistically set out to Blag a Million pounds in 90 days - by any means possible.

Naturally we didn't get close to blagging a million pounds but we did have an awesome summer. The whole quest was a catalyst for a lot of good times, weird scenes and random adventures. We made a load of new friends, had fun and created a tonne of content in the process.

We were commissioned by Current TV to produce 12 x 5 minute weekly episodes and produced a 52-minute documentary from the chaos.

Here are some of the high lights:

		<description>Client: Current TV
Project: Deadliest Journeys
Brief: Re-brand and re-cut 9 part adventure series
Role: Edit producer, editor

Hired by Current TV to rebrand and re-cut a 9 part series we named 'Deadliest Journeys'. Each epsode was cut down from 52 minutes to 26, totally rescored, rebranded and recut to update and modernise what was originally a very dull series.

The series was later picked up by Current USA and we re-versioned it again cutting the episodes down to 22 minutes and replacing the voice over with an American VO artist.

This is currently one of Currents highest rating shows in both territories and has been a hit online with the 30 second trailers instantly going viral. Deadliest Journeys also proved to be one of the most cost effect shows for the channel.

You can watch the full American episodes here.
