In this sordid, controversial film we set out to investigate the strange equalities between male and female sex toys. Why is it sad/desperate/creepy for a guy to use a fake vagina, yet liberating/cool/socially acceptable for women to use vibrators?

Current TV originally commissioned this as part of a season called ‘Sex and Money’ and the commissioner loved it. But for months they sat on our film while their lawyers mulled over the final scene and whether it was ‘legal’ to broadcast or not.

Eventually they grew some balls, broadcast it and it proved to be one of their most popular short form films ever produced.

Since then, it has sat quietly and 'tag less' on my Vimeo page. That is until recently because the presenter of this film has decided to pursue a career in teaching and he fears that if one of his little rodent pupils stumbled across the film online, he’d get the sack.

So, being a good friend and even though he signed a full release form, I have pulled the film down.
