Project: Deadliest Journeys
Brief: Re-brand and re-cut 9 part adventure series
Role: Edit producer, editor
Hired by Current TV to rebrand and re-cut a 9 part series we named 'Deadliest Journeys'. Each epsode was cut down from 52 minutes to 26, totally rescored, rebranded and recut to update and modernise what was originally a very dull series.
The series was later picked up by Current USA and we re-versioned it again cutting the episodes down to 22 minutes and replacing the voice over with an American VO artist.
This is currently one of Currents highest rating shows in both territories and has been a hit online with the 30 second trailers instantly going viral. Deadliest Journeys also proved to be one of the most cost effect shows for the channel.
